Meet the newest Scrubs & Heels Ambassadors for 202 Meet the newest Scrubs & Heels Ambassadors for 2026-2027. 🌟 Dr. Yeshika Thapa, Resident Physician at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, is joining S&H with a mission to amplify the voices of women in GI and build a strong, supportive community across all career stages. Dr. Talia Malik, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellow at Medical College of Wisconsin, knows firsthand how important mentors, advocates, and peers are to growth both personally and professionally. As an ambassador, she hopes to build those connections for other women in medicine and contribute to a culture where women feel empowered to pursue their goals in leadership, research, and procedural fields. Applications for the 2027-2028 cohort are now open! Open to fellows and early career women in GI. Deadline is August 31, 2026. The fifth year of the S&H Leadership Summit closed The fifth year of the S&H Leadership Summit closed out on a high note. The panel tackled imposter phenomenon and tall poppy syndrome head on, with an honest conversation about what it means to push back and take up space unapologetically. The breakout sessions that followed covered financial wellness, nutrition, and wealth protection, giving attendees practical tools to walk away with.
