Since 2022, this program has provided early and mid-career women in GI with a structured, year-long mentorship and sponsorship experience focused on leadership development, career growth, and building a network that lasts. If you are a practicing female gastroenterologist looking to advance your career and grow as a leader in GI, this program was built for you. Meet the newest Scrubs & Heels Ambassadors for 202 Meet the newest Scrubs & Heels Ambassadors for 2026-2027. 🌟 Dr. Yeshika Thapa, @yessthapa Resident Physician at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, is joining S&H with a mission to amplify the voices of women in GI and build a strong, supportive community across all career stages. Dr. Talia Malik, @taliamalikmd Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellow at Medical College of Wisconsin, knows firsthand how important mentors, advocates, and peers are to growth both personally and professionally. As an ambassador, she hopes to build those connections for other women in medicine and contribute to a culture where women feel empowered to pursue their goals in leadership, research, and procedural fields.
